Bill to Date:

During APS.com redesign, the estimated bill-to-date feature provided by a third-party vendor was retired. Retiring this feature led to increased calls to the call center, a sustained negative impact on customer satisfaction and negated a key benefit of AMI. It also resulted in slower payments

Goal:

The purpose of the Bill to Date project is to provide a web page on the APS.com My Account section that provides residential customers a bill-to-date estimate based on their current billing cycle, rate plan, adjustors, taxes and fees. This web page on APS.com will displays bill to date information in the form of a bar graph, with one bar per day, for a 7-day view.

Project: Conversion of Sagent Plans to Informatica mappings, Transformer Load Management (TLM), and other ETL applications

APS has multiple BI systems for validating performance of their internal processes such as energy delivery, supply chain management, marketing and trading processes, power trading processes. To move and transform all the data in these processes, APS uses multiple instances of legacy ETL environments that have around 1,563 ETL components. Majority of the components are built using Sagent 6.4/6.5.

APS’s all four major ETL applications were running on Sagent.
