Analysing the effective connectivity in MDD patients during emotion processing Depression is a disorder of impaired emotion regulation. It is necessary to formulate a common pattern of brain activity that may be behind those feelings of low mood. This project aims at analysing the brain connectivity for the patients with Major Depressive Disorder by giving visual stimuli to them and recording their perceived and induced emotional response. It focuses on differentiating their brain activity elicited for different types of images, documenting their perceived emotion, correlate the behavioral data with brain activation and visualization of emotion processing. An Indigenous Pulse Diagnosis System

The main aim of this project is to develop a simple wearable machine to continuously monitor the wrist pulse and indicate abnormalities to the person. This project focuses on developing a diagnosis system based on sidha or acupuncture pulse analysis. The pulse of the subject is acquired using suitable sensors and the signal is processed and analysed to successfully detect the abnormalities of the subject. This product is expected to help detect problems easily as diagnosis of a condition requires high experience of skilled practitioners. It is further expected to suggest simple home remedies for the cure. Only the initial stages of the project were done. INTERNSHIP EXPERIENCES:

• Clinical Observership training at Dr.Kamakshi Memorial Hospital Pvt. Ltd, Pallikaranai, Chennai in September 2019

• Hands on Biomedical Training in Barola Technologies, Chennai in January 2018

• Undertaken project on Experimenting various Machine Learning Models on Big Data using FinLibre Stack at IIT-M ( Indian Institute of Technology Madras), Chennai in July 2018 as part of internship
