This software interacts with biometric finger machine. The attendance are punched to Oracle tables and necessary reports are prepared. In employee table, employee’s information are stored with photograph as BLOB column. This software uses WebUtil features of Oracle Application Server 10g Release 2.

Database tables, sequences, functions, procedures and triggers are prepared in SQL*Plus and Oracle SQL Developer 3.2. Oracle Developer Suite 10g are used to prepare data entry screens and reports. The forms 10g and reports 10g are deployed in Oracle AS 10g in Windows 2003 server. The applications are accessed in Ubuntu Linux 12.04 and Windows XP machine using Java Plug-in. i.e thin client.

This software system computerize the weighing machine in the stores department of the company. The stores department gets material from various suppliers with invoice as proof of material description and weight. The weight difference is checked by this software system. The Microsoft Communication ( MSComm ) control is used to read data from weighing machine through the serial port ( COM1). The data entry screen are designed in Visual Basic 6.0 and data are stored in MS-Access file. Reports are prepared by using Crystal Report 7.0. The report contains supplier name, item description, gross weight and net weight.

Automation of Electronic Relays

This software system automates the electronic relays. The MSComm (Microsoft Communication) control is used read data from relays through serial port (COM1). This software remote close and trip the circuit breaker. The data are stored in .MDB data file. Through the serial port, 32 relays can be connected and each one is communicated by using the device id of the relay.

Progress Report Preparing System

This software package prepares progress report for every month which uses client/server architecture. The Chairman/Principal of the college can see necessary information from his desktop/laptop computer. That is overall performance of a student, progress report and teaching performance of a staff. All the academic departments are using the software to prepare the progress report.

Designing logical schema of the database using SQL*Plus, data loading from existing FoxPro (*.DBF) files to Oracle tables using SQL*Loader and some DBA activities ( Creating new users, Granting Roles and Privileges, Creating Tablespaces etc ). Accounting System

The account section of the college collecting various fees from student and paying salary for staff. This module takes care of financial issues of the college and with the bank. The system generates pay slip, fees pending details, billing of fees paid, and monthly statement.

Creating database objects tables, views and indexes using SQL*Plus and stored procedures, functions, packages using PL/SQL. Designing data entry screens in Forms 6.0 and Reports 6.0. Front Office Automation

The office of the college keeps records of attendance and leave particulars of staff, visitor details ( parents/guardian of the student ) and student attendance. It generates necessary memo to parents if a student takes continuous leave. Only permitted persons ( maximum four members ) can see a student within the college premises. The name and photograph of the persons are stored in the database. The office superintend allow the persons with the similar identity stored in the computer database system.
