We built a HANA view/model with XSJS/OData API on Internal Order and Settlement rule tables to support the Data Scrub application on SAP Leonardo Cloud Platform. The solution will leverage the data from the existing HANA tables to build HANA Views, which is extracted to Data Scrub application through Cloud Platform Integration (CPI).

Roles and Responsibilities:

Thames water utilities Ltd is UK’S large water and waste-water Service Company with over 4,000 employees providing service round the clock to 13 Million customers across London and south east of England. TWUL provides Water & Waste-Water services to some 70 million customers in 46 countries across the world.Thames Water’s Customer Information System is a large and complex system that was merged with the existing Contact Logging System and Debt Recovery Package (UCS). The main purpose of TW CIS is to bill customers and provides related information to the system’s Swindon-based users.

The Customer Information System (CIS), at Thames Water has been in place since July 1993. CIS consists of over 2000 modules covering online transactions, overnight batch runs, ad-hoc queries and enquiry only services. CIS is running on IBM mainframe under CICS. CIS has an online side and a batch side. The online services cover customer contacts, pending work and any other items that require immediate update of the data tables. The batch services that cover billing, bill print runs, debt recovery, data refreshes, ad-hoc queries, management summaries etc.

The wastewater is treated to the required consent conditions before being released into rivers. The sewage sludge is recycled to agricultural land or incinerated for energy recovery.

Thames Water issues Trade Effluent Consents to the industries and traders across its network for them to discharge Trade Effluent into the sewer network. Initially CIS is getting data and sending report to AEGIS application. AEGIS application replace with new application SAP. The primary objective of the project is the test data which is coming from new application, modifying existing interface report and sends to new application system as required format.
