Mr. Krasovec has over 35 years of experience in geotechnical, environmental and civil engineering and consulting with expertise and experience in foundations, earth retention systems, impoundments, soil and groundwater investigations and remediation and structural restoration as described below. Mr. Krasovec has completed numerous geotechnical assessments for foundations, earth retention systems, roadways, wind turbines, utilities, wastewater treatment plants and restoration/repairs to settling or heaving structures. He has been an expert witness in several cases regarding the settlement or heaving of commercial and residential structures. Completed the assessment and design of water treatment systems and wastewater treatment plants and consulted on retrofits/modifications for existing plants. Completed numerous design and construction observation projects for all types of deep and shallow foundations, earth retention systems, impoundments, dikes, sediment control structures and structural restoration and/or reinforcing. Conducted the design or the review of, and/or construction quality assurance for landfill cells and caps, leachate systems industrial impoundments and leach pads. Mr. Krasovec has also successfully completed numerous engineering and environmental projects throughout the United States from initial investigation through remediation and closure. These have included the assessment and cleanup of hazardous waste impacted soil and groundwater, which included metals, volatile organic hydrocarbons and pesticides in soils, groundwater, drums, or site equipment and structures. The projects were completed under RCRA, CERCLA, TSCA, and other state programs. Designed oil-water separators for storm water systems. Completed remediation projects using dual phase extraction, insitu bioremediation, thermal absorption, vapor extraction and sparging, ozone/oxidation systems, carbon absorption and general offsite disposal. Communication and negotiating abilities used to work through regulations to solve construction and environmental problems with integrity and accountability in a timely fashion.
Mr. Krasovec has prepared overall facility assessments for large developments, such as the Grand Traverse Resort, high rise buildings in Chicago and commercial structure throughout the United States, to identify long-term maintenance issues and associated costs, prepare plans and specifications and oversight of the work. These included structural conditions assessments and the design of repair/restoration measures including column wraps, beam repairs structural deck repairs and repairs using Carbon Fiber Reinforced Polymer. Completed assessment of existing foundations for installation of new equipment with higher loads and oversaw the installation of the new equipment and my specified deck coating for protection of existing concrete at a 30+ year old water treatment plant. Designed a new catwalk for the plant. Design build of a new chlorination system and building for a water treatment plant. Assessment of an existing vapor intrusion system to verify its proper operation.
Completed assessment of storm water systems and prepared updated SWMP, designed modifications to existing systems and provided turnkey services for the modifications.

Acting Environmental Manager for 6 months for the Total Petroleum Refinery in Alma, Michigan. This included oversight of all operations related to federal and state reporting of air, water and hazardous waste issues. Kept the EPA advised to keep fines from being levied and to assure the site was in compliance with all discharges from the operations and the onsite waste water treatment plant and all wastes generated were being properly and legally disposed. Developed new clients and revenue for the office including MSU, Household International Inc. and the Aid Association for Lutherans.
