SUMMARY/OBJECTIVE

To increase the operational efficiency and cost effectiveness of the supply chain for a company leveraging my supply chain and operational expertise. One example of this expertise and ability to transform a supply chain organization was when I took on the role as the Commodity Manager for a major oil company. In less than 9 months, using my operational experience, I guided my Global team to a much greater focus on process improvement and the entire value chain. The organization generated $18 million in annualized savings, a 9% savings of total spend. Additionally, I sold and implemented the concept of a reverse auction to buy line pipe for a major utility pipeline project and saved them over 12% with a spend of $30MM. Familiar with SAP and other procurement systems.

EXPERIENCE

Consultant (July 2015-Present) Self Employed

Provide Supply Chain and Engineering expertise to Oil/Gas and Utility Companies. Supply Chain focus is on Total Cost of Ownership by applying proven procurement processes from spend analysis, strategy development, vendor rationalization, contract negotiations and post contract management. Performed a spend analysis and vendor rationalization for a service provider resulting in over $300K annual savings. I have an extensive knowledge of the upstream commodities because I have used all of them. This give me an advantage as I know the total cost elements of a commodity.

Vice President Operations (July 2012-July 2015) Black Elk Energy

Managed Operations Team and provided technical engineering for an independent oil company. Implemented cost saving initiatives, by using vendor rationalization, to reduce Lease Operating Expenses (LOE) by 23% by focusing on spend, vendor relationships and Total Cost of Ownership.

Sr. Completions Engineer (July 2011-July 2012) Talisman Energy

Provide completion technical expertise and managed field completion operations for the Unconventional Play in the Eagleford Shale. Developed horizontal completions, wrote completion procedures, managed costs, evaluated/specified material/vendor identification worked on SAP implementation.

Completions Engineering Manager/Sr Completions Engineer (May 2006-July 2011) ADTI

Provide leadership and technical expertise for completion team for Turnkey completions. Developed wellbore designs, completion procedures, costs, material/vendor identification and ultimately turnkey bids for a wide range of wells for Onshore, Gulf of Mexico and International.

Managed a staff of 12 supply chain professionals to provide supply chain solutions for the Utility industry. Annual revenues of $4.4MM. Provide TCO- Total Cost of Ownership strategic sourcing strategies for the utility industry. Work extensively with clients to create value/business case and drive adoption and implementation success through application of proven Change Management practices. I was a key player in the success of a start-up Procure to Pay company.

Have extensive commodity knowledge for MRO materials, Gas Products, Pipe, Valves and Fittings.

Contract Field Superintendent for independent oil company. I provided field level leadership. Developed financial metrics and processes for field improvements. Evaluated and implemented water disposal, electrical generation, gas compression changes for improved capacities and lower costs. Implemented a maintenance management program, procurement strategy for key commodities.
