Responsible for the safe, smooth operation and constant monitoring of 4 Diesel Generators through its associated control and monitoring board.

Carry out prompt and logical actions in restoring normal plant operation during emergency situations.

Perform routine such as closing and opening of switchyard circuit breakers and associated disconnects per switching orders.

Multi-task background includes operating generators to regulate the megawatt system demand and synchronization of units that supplies power to the Grid and Utility Company.

Coordinates closely to substation engineers to ensure that all relevant outside plant switching operations are cleared first with the control room before operation.

Addressed all alarms that came into control room and coordinated with floor operators to ascertain solution as they occur.

Coordinated with other maintenance workers for lockout/tagout blocking procedures to insure safely of workers while performing maintenance in the plant.

Assists in changing over of equipment new and existing, entering it into logbooks and monitoring its parameters.

Performs all jobs functions with the Standard Operating Procedures, operation strategies and commercial commitment of the Power Station.

Complies with the company safety rules and requires subordinate to do the same.
