INSTALL TECHNICIAN Hitch Shop - Calgary, AB July 11, 2017 to Sep 10,2019

• Installation technician in the companies trailer hitch shop.

• Hitch Shop carry’s a large inventory of Trailer Hitches, Fifth wheel packages, and truck accessories for installation.

• Tasked with the procurement and replacement of all of the fluorescent lighting in the warehouse and shop area with LED fixtures. Updating previous panel and circuit revisions to meet CEC requirements. Installation of conduit and wire as needed

CONTRACT ESTIMATOR Concept Electric - Calgary, AB July 11, 2017 to August 20, 2017

Concept required an industrial estimator to assist with the completion of their bid for the Bonnybrook waste treatment plant PH II. The contract was to be completed at the submission of the final proposal in approximately 3 weeks.

Distinguishing Qualities:

• Contract Electrical Estimator. Working with Concepts team, Completed Class 1 estimate for the City of Calgary’s

Bonnybrook waste water expansion project.

CONTRACT ESTIMATOR Pronghorn Controls – Red Deer, AB May 7 to June 16, 2017

Pronghorn required an estimator to assist with the completion of their bid for a De-oiling Project for one of their regular client EPC firms. The estimate was submitted on the due date as well as 2 other smaller projects before the contract was closed.

Distinguishing Qualities:

Electrical Estimator. Completed Class 1 estimates for bid tender purposes.

Contributed to the completion of the De-oiling project for a Pronghorn client.

ESTIMATOR Tri Quest Services – Rockyview, AB Nov 24, 2016 to Feb 17, 2017

Having decided to expand the industrial portion of their business Triquest needed an electrical estimator with industrial experience to supplement the commercial estimator on staff. Projects estimated included a new Calgary remand center, Fuel pump islands for a retail convenience store/gas station complex and a tire manufacturing and warehouse facility.

Distinguishing Qualities:

Electrical Estimator. Completed Class 1 estimates for bid tender purposes.

Company was bidding on all types of commercial construction ranging from stand alone retail outlets to Co-Ed Correctional facilities. They also had a contract for service and maintenance of Rogers server farms.

CONSULTING ESTIMATOR MKA CANADA – Calgary, AB June 1 to August 11, 2016

MKA hired me in anticipation of a surge of requests as a result of the Fort MacMurray wildfire. The expected

surge did not materialize and MKA opted to close my position due to a lack of work. While with MKA I was

assigned projects involving the regional Hospital in Fort MacMurray, Several Lafarge concrete batch plants

damaged by fire, and a condo development that had been destroyed.

Distinguishing Qualities:

Consulting Electrical Estimator. Responsible for the electrical portion of class 3 estimates.

Incorporated Electrical material and labor elements into the companies estimating tool using the RS means catalog to apply industry standard divisions.

SENIOR ESTIMATOR Stealth Energy Services – Calgary, AB 2013 – 2015

While with Stealth the majority of the estimates were for modular units destined for the Alberta Oil patch. These included; Modular E-houses containing motor control centers and switchgear, Generator modules containing Stealth supplied and installed prime movers and synchronizing equipment, Compressor skids for gas service, Instrument Air modules suitable for a mining environment. Noise control and mitigation solutions.

Distinguishing Qualities:

Served as the sole Electrical Estimator within the Applications department, a branch of the Sales division. Held authority over the pricing database, and updated pricing on a job-by-job basis. Applied a stringent approach to ensure the fresh and appropriate pricing of specific commodities.

Developed a standardized process/program using Excel to create a price for electrical estimates, enabling sustainable and consistent completion of estimates.

SENIOR ESTIMATOR ABB Bermac – Calgary, AB 2012 – 2013

At ABB Bermac the majority of work was estimating the supply of modular units as described in the previous notes for Stealth. ABB also had a field construction component and estimates were produced for the completion of Industrial facilities at remote locations and on customers existing sites.

Distinguishing Qualities:

Held authority as the only estimator in Calgary, consistently meeting estimation deadlines, and proactively communicating with internal stakeholders to support business/client relations.

Communicated with diverse teams of Estimators from Calgary office, maintaining contact with in-field Estimators on a remote basis. Navigated the highly complex business and operating culture of this company comprised of the unique ABB and Bermac entities.

SENIOR ESTIMATOR Independent Electric – Calgary, AB 2011 – 2012

Independent electric did most of their work in the field through a number of branch offices. Estimating Capitol projects as well as operations and maintenance projects. Many of the estimates were produced for Nexen a major Independent client.

Completed multiple electrical estimates for oil-patch projects, while additionally mentoring Junior Estimators. Created meaningful growth, ownership, enthusiasm and discussion around the estimating process.
