Career Summary:
Forty -seven years of experience in the electrical field including residential, commercial, Industrial, industrial maintenance, oil and gas construction and maintenance, commissioning and start-up, QA/QC inspector and manager. I have excellent people skills with vendors, contractors, and employees. I am also knowledgeable with computers.
I started in 1977 as an apprentice electrician and have worked my way through the ranks to become a well-respected leader in the various electrical industries. One of my most favorable accomplishments was in 1994 before the PLC era, I designed a complex ice auger system for a Sanderson Farms Processing Plant. I drew the schematics. It was installed and is still being used today. I have learned many skills over the years from installing cable tray, basket tray, troubleshooting PLC’s, installing various instruments, fiber optics, Cat5. I am certified in installing medium and high voltage. I have also been involved in several commissioning and start-up of new revamped platforms overseas and in the GOM. Also have done commissioning for MMR on land. I was an I/E supervisor with MMR Offshore Services in Equatorial Guinea, Africa for 6 years. As of August 15, 2013, I passed all the necessary courses at Shell Roberts Training Center and am AEP2 certified. This certifies me as an authorized electrical person level 2 to work at all Shell facilities in the Gulf of Mexico. This was a 15 day course regarding various areas of the electrical field. In 2016 I worked on my first Data Center in Clarksville TN, it was a Google project. I was the lead fire alarm tech for Ace Electric. After 3 months Ace promoted me to QC manager and I went to Ohio and started working and building the QC department on an Amazon Date Center project. Through the years working on several Data Centers across the country I have worked closely with the commissioning departments and 3rd party vendors commissioning and start up of UPS, Switchgear, Generator, CRAHU Units, DAHU Units, PDC cabinets etc…
Objective:
To secure a position with a respectable and well-established company that is not only striving daily to produce the best product they can for the customer, but at the same time putting safety first. I do my best work under pressure. Troubleshooting is what I enjoy more than anything.
