Assembled and actuated the working of the following components: i. Final Control unit for the caging operation machine ii. Complete wheel changeover in the land and race grinding operation machine iii. Setting up of ‘Marposs’ (a unit to measure the accuracy of grinding of Deep Groove Ball Bearing

Assisted shop floor operators in the resetting as well as presetting of various grinding and assembly machines.

Achieved a comprehensive understanding of the SKF Production System.

Accomplished and regulated the work standardization of various manual tasks and operations on the shop floor.

o Reduced MTTR(Mean Time to Repair) in various changeovers and pre-settings. o Effectuated the standardization of 12 shop floor operations. o Studied in detail about various lean tools including 5S, Kaizen, 8 Waste Identification.

Performed detailed time study for each operation. o Identified value adding and non-value adding activities in each operation. o Analyzed any existing deviations from the prescribed methodology of carrying out an operation and gave suitable recommendations for the same.
