As a full-time contractor in the Human Capitol Office/Contractor Security Management (CSM) I provide supporting collaboration efforts to stakeholder organizations to mitigate security risks associated with contractor access to systems, facilities, and/or SBU data. I perform the duties of processing IRS contractors through the on-boarding process, security awareness, and separation activities, and ensures that key information is available, following prescribed policies and directives. In the clerical capacity I have the duty of ensuring the pertinent information is documented in contractors’ files. I process the risk assessment checklist completed by the COR’s. I enter the information in PBIP and from there it is entered in HRC/PDS. I After the contractor completes the US Access enrollment process. I upload the F306, FCRA, and proof of citizenship and NDA forms along with the case into ABIS (Automated Background Investigation System. Personnel Security sends out the 7day E-QIP invitation and after completion the contractor receives the staff-like access memo of approval to gain systems and facilities access. Contractors that require Security Awareness Training is notified to complete the training within 10-days. I also make certain that this access is removed when the contractor is non-compliant. I maintain a database with the most current information on the contractor lifecycle, including levels of investigations, training, potential requests for physical and logical access, and separation data as required by regulations and policies. In accordance with the Internal Revenue Manual (IRM), Procurement Policy and Procedure guidelines for CORs. CSM provides guidance on the template for new contracts or revised contracts that have expired also when COR’s change. The vendor POC and the COR must complete the separation checklist to ensure all badges, Smart Cards, equipment, documents, and other government furnished property items are returned. The contractor’s systems and facilities access are removed in HRC/PDS. Real Estate & Facilities Management is notified of federal workspace that is vacant. CSM provides support for audits and data calls from TIGTA, Congress, GAO, and Treasury and responds to customer and stakeholder requests for data and information concerning IRS contractor status. I collaborate with contractor and stakeholders to mitigate security risks and ensure that key data is available for sound business decisions. I communicate with management and team members on investigative activities to ensure contractors are within the five-year compliance and the adjudication dates are properly entered into HRC/PDS tracking system. My duty is to ensure the contractors receive the correct type of investigation at the appropriate risk level that they will perform for the IRS. I ensure their information secure, and disclosure is conducted and kept confidential. I monitor and process the revalidations when contractors work multiple contracts. I review and upload documents from the E-Fax machine for missing information and digital signatures and download forms. Workplace interaction and involvement. I train team members and contractors along with other duties assigned. I promote a healthy environment free of harassment and hostility. I follow all set guidelines and procedures and I adhere to UNAX unauthorized Access of taxpayer accounts and I ensure employees do not compromise public confidence in our protection of tax account information.
