I am a certified, practicing Six Sigma Black Belt, ITIL Foundations, and Agile Scrum Master with over two decades of experience in project management, process improvement, change management, and instructional design, across several industries, including: Distribution/Logistics, Manufacturing, Insurance, Financial Services, Telecommunications, Recruiting, and Academia. Have worked with executive leadership as an external consultant, where I have played critical roles in enterprise-strategy development, application development, product development, new-product introduction, inventory control, operational excellence. Also designed complete Service-Desk environment based on principles from ITIL for major U.S. university. Simultaneously, worked there as a change agent for the university’s transformation to Unified Communication. Lead others to accomplish whatever meets organizational goals. Accountable and dependable. Notable Activities & Accomplishments

Guided all Operations departments through Process Program with executive-level leadership, whereby we examined past policies, processes, training, and tools for improvement opportunities at Caterpillar (IT/Business); State Farm (Systems/Business TWO times); Wells Fargo (IT/Business); & University of Illinois (Student/faculty/emeritus).

Saved State Farm millions during major department through managing and executing the creation of an inventory of all IT assets (business processes, applications software, IT services) for implementation of new compliance tool for Asset Risk Management (ARM) tool [Troux] focused on Non-Public Personal Information (NPI), per Matters-Requiring-Attention (MRA) from the federal government.

Led two major (change) projects for Campus Information Technologies and Educational Services (CITES) at the University of Illinois, including three-part VOC plan (student, faculty, staff):

oDrove improvements through design of a Service Management environment, based on ITIL.

oHelped lead university’s transformation to Unified Communication (UC) conversion across the institution, with it possibly the first major U.S. university to accomplish such a feat.

Teamed with executives at State Farm to develop strategy creating new, $12,000,000 IT Quality Department with three units: Process Management, Quality Assurance, and Quality Control. Yearly savings estimated at $20,000,000.

Managed several IT improvement projects, including Payout Annuity Underwriting, Web Segmentation, Systems Information Retrieval Process, (SDLC) Exception Review Process, Test Center Information Management, Executive Support, Workstation Support, and others, garnering tremendous improvements and savings. No numbers on these.

Served as project manager, from position of technical writer, over company’s top programmers for major manufacturer’s global initiative project, the Quality Initiative, taking international dealers from green-screen technology (AS400) to GUI in Unix environment.

Directed strategy as pre-release manager for major telecommunications company’s $600,000,000, cutting-edge technology project for development of world’s first 4G cell-phone platform, navigating through two major, cutting-edge, corporate environments simultaneously.

Drove Change (process) among major resistance for two global manufacturers (CaseIH and Caterpillar Inc.).

Developed strategy to turn crop-insurance organization from regional inconsistencies and customer-service failures to ushering adoption of consistent processes and revised customer-support policies and processes.
