Career Objective
I was out of nursing for a long time due to a serious arm injury, it took several years to recover from this and the doctors thought I never would so that is why I let my license expire. Then I was caring for my son full time for many years who has now passed away. Now I have 17+ years left of my career and I would like to find a nice place to settle down and finish it.

I was told I won the award because I had two young children at home, was perceived to be very nice by my instructors, and held a GPA of 3.9, on a personal note my husband helped a lot with our children that year, and I studied practically continually when I was awake! I really wanted to become a nurse and now I'm thrilled to have my license back. I just can't quit smiling!
