Project QHSE Engineer

The company is a major Consulting firm involved in design, supervision, project management, Quality, Health, Safety and Environment management of Civil Engineering projects in Nigeria. Reporting to the Senior Engineer. Supervised a workforce of 60 skilled Construction Workers, Engineers, and Surveyors.

Main Responsibilities:

Led the development of the Project Safety Plan (PSP);

Coordinated with Senior Resident Engineer & all site supervision staff in implementing the PSP.

Planned, Scheduled and Carried out Safety, Environmental and Quality Internal Company Audits and External Audits on the Contractors ;

Monitored and Controlled Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs) & Corrective actions Requests (CAR);

Checked safety requirements in the Contractors’ Method Statements and monitored the implementation during construction;
