This is a $600 million dollar site prep project covering 150 Hectares with a Marine facility, Public By-pass road and a 24KM water pipe line, 5.5 million Cubic meter of rock excavation and 4.5 million cubic meters of fill placement

Lead surveyor for KBR doing the Quality control for the (4) subcontractor's surveyors, overseeing the construction of the 13.4 Km Bypass road around the project for public access. overseeing the surveyors doing the layout and quantity survey topographic surveys for monthly billing. Checking the layout and volumes of the marine facilities.

I did the rigging design & setup, Rigging Details and drawing the Elevation and Plan Views for Engineering and Client approval. I reviewed the field generated lift plans for acceptance or rejection/correction.

Supervised a geotechnical subcontractor to investigate the geotechnical suitability for proposed oil refinery in Equatorial Guinea, Africa. Work included overseeing geophysical (seismic) and geotechnical (Boreholes and soil sampling) scopes of work. Also maintained daily communications with the client-(Ministry of Mining, Manufacturing and Energy). Responsible for the various scopes of work within the contract limits. And approving daily timesheets and any potential cost overruns.

A 8.6 Billion joint venture team of KBR, the engineering and construction, Snamprogetti, the engineering and main contracting company of Italy's Eni, and JGC of Japan has been awarded the engineering, procurement and construction (EPC) contract for the Chevron Nigeria Limited (CNL)/Nigeria National Petroleum Corporation (NNPC) gas to liquids (GTL) facility in Escravos, Nigeria. The Escravos GTL facility will provide significant environmental benefits by converting natural gas to produce ultra clean GTL diesel. The plant will have an output of 34,000 barrels per day of GTL diesel, naphtha and liquefied petroleum gas for export. The completion of the Escravos plant will add Nigeria to the list of countries leading the industry in implementation of GTL production facilities

As the Surveyor I am in charge of 4 local Nigerian survey crews running settlement monitoring or 2800 point on a 14 day schedule. Also I am in charge of projects where sub millimeter accuracy is required and out of scope work as needed. I check and verify subcontractor’s surveys and evaluate their survey crews and competency levels. And teaching local Nigerian surveyors the latest methods as well as traditional methods of surveying they have not had the opportunity to learn.

Attended a 3 day class in proper QA/QC inspecting and affective reporting, after the first session I was appointed class lead and assisted the instructor on the construction inspection part of the course and teaching the other students the importance of quality control.

Survey superintendent- Over 15 crews 3 G.P.S. and 12 conventional, Oil field layout, pipe line layout and asbuilts, Control for processing units, tank farms and living area.

Chad/Cameroon Development Project; Chad and Cameroon, Africa

A $3.5 billion project to produce crude oil from 300 wells in three oil fields in the south western part of Chad, Africa, and transport the crude oil through a 1070 km, 30" pipeline to an offshore loading facility on the west coast of Cameroon, Africa. The client is a consortium consisting of ExxonMobil, Chevron and Petronas. The contractor (KBC) is a joint venture between KBR, Bouygues Batimant, Bouygues Offshore and Cegelec. KBC scope of work is EPC for all Camp Facilities, Infrastructure (Access Roads, Permanent and Temporary Buildings, Control Rooms, etc.), Airports and Airstrips, Field Erected Storage Tanks, Gathering Systems, Well Pads, Central Oil Treating Facility, Pump Stations 1, 2, and 3, Pressure Reduction Station and Power Generation/Transmission. The pipeline construction is performed by WillBros and Schlumberger and Pride perform the drilling.

I also maintained daily communications with the client (ARCO) to keep them updated on the work progress.
