EPC Contract Manager (Madrid, Spain) - Expatriate family status

at Técnicas Reunidas (leader for engineering and construction in the oil and gas sector in Spain, one of the leaders in Europe in the design and construction of oil and gas facilities, and one of the world leaders in the refining sector) in charge of the FEED (Front End Engineering and Design) and EPC (Engineering Procurement and Construction) of the VGO Deep conversion complex (Refinery revamping).

RESPONSIBILITIES: Providing expertise and support for the successful post award contract administration of EPC Contract between TR and the Client; ensure proper implementation of contracts and claims management’s principles.

Coordinating and monitoring compliance with the contract obligations;

Close cooperation with discipline engineers in order to follow up all changes/variations to the initial scope of the contract;

Preparation and negotiation of the changes to the contract with respect to additional compensation and time;

at TECHNIP FRANCE (world leader in the fields of project management, engineering and construction for the oil & gas industry) in charge of the Engineering, Procurement and Construction of a polyvinyl chloride (PVC) integrated plant in Nizhny Novgorod, Russia (which will be the largest of its kind in the country and will have a polymer production capacity of about 330,000t/y.)

RESPONSIBILITIES: Administrating the contracts packages in the best interest of the Company/Service Provider and in full compliance with the contract administration procedures. Responsible for the administration of site construction and supply contracts ranging in size from US $180 million to US $0,5 million. In charge of the pre award stage for the site awarded packages (tender announcement, prequalification, bidder list preparation, call for bid, bids evaluation and recommendation to award).

MORE SPECIFICALLY:

Ensuring that all contractual obligations stipulated in the contract are complied with by each party;

Negotiating each amendment, request for modification, non-conformity;

At Shtokman Development AG (joint venture between Total S.A.(France), Gazprom(Russia) and Statoil Hydro(Norway) in charge of developing the Shtokman gas condensate field

RESPONSIBILITIES: Acted as contract engineer in charge to follow up different value contracts such as: archaeological excavations, FEED (partly), surveys, design of two camps, site preparation, etc. In addition to contract engineering/administration:

-Responsible for public tenders and prequalification exercises for onshore activities contracts.

-Cost control of 15-25 ongoing contracts and 25-30 invoices monthly, monthly reporting, accruals, budget preparation and it revision.

ITT preparation, evaluation of tenders, negotiation and establishment of contract awards (contracts, frame agreements, call offs) in accordance and in compliance with plans same as schedule, goals, policies/requirements and procedures;

RESPONSIBILITIES: Contracts administration and Cost controlling mainly the contracts with ACV (Approved Contract Value) up to US $ 100 million for the construction of oil producing artificial islands in Caspian Sea. Since January 2007 relocated to London office to support Senior Cost Control/Contract Administrator to monitor the service contracts related to EP Clusters & Civil Projects.

Administration and cost control of the existing contracts such as: manufacture and delivery of precast concrete elements, storage of precast concrete elements at the river port and transportation to offshore, offshore civil construction works (EPC), provision of air diving services, construction and operation of the jetty in the Tupkaragan bay area, rock and sand supply, procurement piling materials, marine services,
