April 2016 – To date - William Spielberger & Associates Law Office P.C.

In my current position at the law offices of Mr. Spielberger, my functions along with the regular paralegal functions include:

-Information Research for cases dealing with mostly litigation.

-Phone and personal client service.

-Handling the office and all normal affairs when the Attorney is out of town on work assignments.

BONUS ADVANTAGES

Prior to my employment at this law office, the filing system was entirely in hardcopy. Apart from documents received via email, digitization and electronic file management was non-existent. Any document required, from last month or ten years ago, had to be physically sorted through dusty old boxes in the office or in the storage room. The filing system, composed of files from the last 20 years was a complete mess.

- Due to my transferable skills and experience in information technology, Database Design and

Management, I have now completely redesigned and digitized his entire filing an information

System. Now any and all documents can be searched for and perused without even leaving the desk

This saves and incredible amount of time and money and greatly improving efficiency. The hardcopy

filing system is now only meant for backup.

- In addition I have also created an automatic digital back up system to continuously back up all the information on the computer

- In addition, unlike before, now the attorneys have the ability to take the entire filing system via laptop anywhere in the world. This could not be done previously.

- In addition, The capability now also exists to access the entire filing system in the office from anywhere in the world via internet networking protocols.

- In addition, due to my artistic and design experience, I have also streamlined, redesigned and remodeled the entire office. A new larger storage room was acquired for backup file storage. The office was purged of 15 year old redundant files thereby leaving space for complete interior makeover of the office giving it a much more professional look.

- in addition, due to my graphic design skills, and video production and editing skills, we are in the midst of plans to shoot and edit video depositions and presentations for his lawsuits. This again will save him thousands of dollars spent on professional companies that execute this service. Along with the video depositions, we are also discussing producing a valuable documentary of a collection of his best cases.

-In addition, due to my artistic design and graphic design capabilities I will be building a custom website for the law firm which will make the law firm and its activities accessible on a worldwide stage. This again was non-existent before.

HOSPITALITY WORK EXPERIENCE

- Night Auditor, Front Desk Servicer/Asst. Night Manager.

The Best Western, Hillside is a 240 room hotel. As the singular night auditor and front desk employee on duty, In addition to the nightly audit at 3 am, I was also responsible for dealing with all the guests, in the hotel, check ins, check outs, customer service issues, all the phone calls etc.

- Hotel Artist

The Le Meridian, in Dubai is an international five star beach resort of exceptional quality. I was the single exclusive hotel artist and reported directly to the GM and the F&B Manager for all the artistic needs of the resort in general and in particular for the restaurants on the property. So whether it was the New Years Ball, the international Sailing or yachting competition, Black and White Night or any other even that needed artistic presentation, I was the one who was the primary Design consultant and the artist sculptor who produced the required displays. Work was executed, in bread, icing sugar, plaster, high density Styrofoam, wood, fiberglass, metal etc.

For a major part of my time over the last 10 – 15 years in the U.S. I have been self employed as a General Contractor and a Remodeler, originally as a handyman and then later under my own company (now Dissolved) M/s D. Construction & Design Inc. I also studied this trade professionally at the South Suburban College in South Holland on the south side of Chicago. This was yet another extension of my artistic, and design capabilities applied to the real estate industry. The company folded after the economy took a turn for the worse. In this industry, I have studied, carpentry, tile laying, welding, drywall work, painting etc. Hence I could easily even work in the maintenance department of the hotel.

Public Relations.

From my work at the The Consulate General of Italy, Karachi, Pakistan. Apart from my experience in working with hotels, I also have eleven years of professional experience as an Executive at The Consulate General of Italy in Karachi, Pakistan. I have worked in The Business and Commercial Affairs Section, The Visa Section and the Cultural Section. My job required me to deal with a great number and an extremely wide spectrum of people ranging from the general public to diplomats, businessmen and tourists on a daily basis. Apart from this, I was always actively involved in the various yearly events of the Consulate General too that brought about the necessity of dealing with the public on a professional level. Over the years this skill gets better with experience.

Communication and Foreign Languages.

A strong ‘ people friendly’ nature led my own personal pursuit into study of both Asian and popular international languages like English, Urdu, Hindi, Concanim, Italian, French and a working knowledge of Spanish, Punjabi, Gujrati and German. VOLUNTEER ACTIVITIES & ACCOMPLISHMENTS

I have been a volunteer worker in the church and community from the age of eleven. As an active member of the church I participated in or organizing concerts, melas, fundraising for charity causes, youth anti drug programs, working in senior citizen homes, abandoned children homes etc. (more information is available). I continued my efforts in the same respect when I came to the United States. Below are some of my most recent involvements.

MUSIC THERAPY

VOLUNTEER PIANIST IN SENIOR CITIZEN NURSING HOMES

From time to time, in between moves, I have donated my time and musical expertise to playing the piano during lunch hour in nursing homes to entertain the senior citizens during lunch. St. Patrick’s nursing home in Naperville, Manor Care, Nursing Home in Hyde park etc.

HABITAT FOR HUMANITY

Active volunteer with Habitat for Humanity, especially in the Mississippi region. One aspect is the construction of homes for homeless people in Mississippi.

DELTA ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT ALLIANCE - DEDA

I have also been working in Mississippi since 2012 and founded and developed the above project which is aimed at the revitalization of a series of ten towns in two counties in Mississippi, the Tallahatchie County and the Coahoma County. The project is ongoing, and will result in the creation of about at least 800 jobs in the area. More than 90 video recorded interviews over two years were conducted in order to put together an extensive 250 page analytical report that has made its way all the way to Washington DC via Mississippi State Representative Mr. Bennie Thompson.

In this project too, all my transitional skills and talents like public relations, business development, graphic and video editing, presentation skills etc. have helped to the full imaginable extent to bring the project to where it is today. An extensive project report is available for your perusal. A website is also being constructed to the same effect.

THE WISDOM OF AGES PROJECT

This is another project that I am working on which deals with senior citizens left behind in nursing homes, and neglected by their families and society.
