For over 5 years I have been a manager at Lowes. I have worked in several departments such as paint, flooring, hardware as well as millworks. Within these departments I have lead small groups of employees. Being a manager for this company is hard work and dedication. Every week we have to input numbers so we know where we are in sales. I have to keep an eye on the inventory in the store. I order product in the store and make sure that our on hands are accurate. If we are missing product I will bill out what we are missing so when we have inventory we are on track. With over 5 years of experience I have lead several employees in this company to success I have been a mentor and have a lot of knowledge to share with my fellow employees.

• In the Flooring department at Lowes in Highland California. Everyday there is something new to learn. I worked on orders for customer and made phone calls to customers and vendors regarding product that was previously ordered. The flooring department requires mathematics because every item in this department is sold by square feet and square yards. Every day the department needs to be stocked as well as provide customer service. As a flooring employee it is required to make sales and set up detail for installation. I find new ways to make the flooring department more efficient for the customers as well as my fellow employees and myself. I work good with others, am a team player as well as a leader. In this department it is a requirement to have experience with computers to be able to use Excel and word. I made a top stock list to locate my product to make it easier to down stock my overhead to provide fast, friendly and efficient customer service.

As a paint customer service associate I work closely with customers to meet their expectations on projects they have. Being in the paint department is good because I get to make every customers dreams come true. I get to hear what a customer wants for their house and sell Lowes products to a customer to make their dream house come true. I was assigned to do weekend classes with customers that came in our store. Every weekend there was new projects that we work on. For example, how to install tile, drywall, lighting, plumbing, paint, etc. These weekend classes were good for business because a lot of people came to learn something new and buy product in the store before they went home. Therefore, these weekend classes showed an increase in sales. Our paint department was one of the highest sales department in the region.

• As a Project coordinator there is a lot of important things I have to do. I have to plan out and work the events in the store. I get With a small group of people and plan out everything and set up the Events and make the phone call to the vender to come. I am the Clinic Captain too. I teach all the employees and customers new things in the store. I teach everything in the HomeDepot.com every month. I am the New Low Price Captain too. This job is a never ending job. Every time there is a price in the store And there is a saving on that item I have to find it and change the price and put a Sign with the saving on it. This is a everyday job because prices are always changing. I am the sign maker too. When there is a hand making sign too be made I get call up And I have to draw out a sign that looks great and I have too make it shine. That goes for paper signs and wood signs too. I am really the go to person. I am the manager’s right hand man. I am her life saver. I get called up when Something needs to get done.

• I was one of the leaders in the store. As a department manager running the Lumber Department. As a Leader in a big company like Homedepot I had to keep the numbers in order by sales. I input numbers in the computers and order items to make are sales grow. I had a group of people that worked with me. I had to make worklist and follow up with them everyday. When the end of the month comes I had a department meeting with my team and talk to them about sales. If my sales were down I had to find a way to bring them up. Times I had to work right beside the store manager to come with new ways of growing the sales. I was on call everyday 24 7.
