August 2011 – Date: Oracle ADF Consultant (Mebu Consulting Ltd)
I’m currently working on a project on behalf of Mebu Consulting Ltd for University College London (UCL). The project involves building a new system using ADF technology. The whole application is being built from scratch including all the BC4J components Page Fragments, Managed/Backing Beans, Skins, Database Functions, Packages and so on. I’m responsible for building the application and also ensuring that all development are in line with the project plan and all deliverables are delivered on time. I liaise with the stakeholders on a regular basis and take part in project board meetings to discuss the progress of the project. I take part in User Review meetings where I have one to one sessions with the users to ensure that the application meet their requirements. I also train the users on the new system.
July 2011 – August 2011: Oracle ADF Consultant/Advisor (Fusion-Experience)
My role is to provide my technical expertise in the area of Oracle ADF. I work with the Creative Directors in identifying those components which are feasible in Oracle ADF based on their GUI design. I take part in technical meetings with clients advising them on the ADF components which can be used out of the box and those which need some customization. I also advise them on the best technical approach to use in achieving their GUI requirements.

I play an active part in the full IS development lifecycle which involves, feasibility study, analysis, requirements gathering, prototyping/wireframing, design, development, testing, implementation, functional and technical documentation.
I was managing 8 modules, which are part of Oracle Fusion Project. This involves re-modelling existing Oracle E-Business Suite/PeopleSoft functionality in areas of HR Specialist Transfer and New Assignment. It also involves managing my time (and other members involved in the project) efficiently to ensure that deadlines are met and work produced is of a very high standard.
I was responsible for developing modules under Self Service in E-Business Suite. One of these modules was ‘Objectives Library/Workforce Performance Management. This allows employees to set their individual objectives and for managers to able to track their progress and accomplishments throughout the fiscal year. It also allows managers to select and place the most suitable employees/contingent workers on roles based on their competency level. This project was developed with OAF.
