• I have been on my current team at BNY Mellon since March of 2013. I support a set of

mainframe COBOL applications with extensive DB2 usage and CICS screens. Our system

p rocesses Health Savings Accounts, Retained Assets and Demand Note customers. I am a

technical lead that does analysis, design, coding, testing, and provide 24/7 on-call support.

Being technical lead, I also supervise and review work from other team members, including

many in India

• On my prior team, I did development and support of Automated Clearing House

(ACH)/Electronic Funds Transfer (EFT) system. Mainframe, Enterprise Cobol, CICS, DB2,

• Technical Lead on high impact and high visibility projects. Supervise one to three other

• Develop, maintain, and support a batch system which p rocesses f inancial t ransactions and

extract s data from SUNGARD OMN I Employee Benefits Record Keeping system.

Developed and installed batch coding efficiencies to provide $100,000 per year cost savings.

1991 - 1994 :

• Provided on-line and batch support on two separate CICS/VSAM based securit ies

p rocessing systems. Designed, coded, and tested various enhancements to both the on-line

and the batch systems.

• Analyzed, developed, and implemented on-line/batch system performance enhancements

and file maintenance. These enhancements decreased the batch run time by 2.5 hours,

decreased file restore jobs by 3 hours, improved on-line response t ime, and eliminated on-

line work outages caused by resource lockups or region recycling.

• Integral in the installation of a vender securities processing system (VISTA) which

i ncluded converting all JCL and testing the entire system.
