WorkResponsibilities of designer: -

Designing and preparing requirements of the project as per available documents and in consultation with the customer.

Proactively interacting with the customer during the project estimation cycle for inputs, clarifications and information required to deliver the quality estimate within timeline.

Costing of required materials, coordinating with various manufacturers/agencies for most competitive design of the solution to be offered.

Participating in meetings with customers, consultants, manufacturers, and other technical personnel and providing technical input for new system proposals, including design.

Project planning, designing, monitoring and managing resources on MEP works for residential Apartments and commercial buildings.

Regular coordination with all the sub-Contractors to fasten the completion of the Project.

Create and modify in AUTOCAD drawings, installation and Programming of Home Automation Modules based on clients Requirement.

Managing and maintaining the relationship with the technical team of customers.

Regular coordination with all the sub-Contractors to fasten the completion of the Project.

Preparing the site inspection reports on the existing systems and identifying the faults and estimating to resolve the issues at the work site without interrupting the customer's business to be done effectively and in the shortest time possible.

Designing Knowledge: -

Plumbing:

Water supply & Drainage system designing and calculation, pressure drop calculations,Pipe sizing of Water supply & drainage pipes.

Pump Head Calculation &Selection of pumps.

Preparing single line drawing & layout of water supply and drainage systems.

Specifications of all fittings like valves, pumps, Pipes, type of pipes & storage tanks.

Designing of capacity of supply tank and septic tank.

Fire Fighting:

Fire Fighting solutions, Fire Alarm System.

Firefighting hydraulic calculation, head loss and pump head calculation for high rise buildings.

Aware of Fire Fighting Accessories & Components manual and automatic detection and suppression of fires, as in using and installing a fire sprinkler system or finding the fire alarm and extinguishing& Aware of Single Line Diagram (SLD).

Preparing single line drawing & layout of firefighting pipes & fire alarm cabling.

ELV system:

Aware of single line diagram for low current system such as fire alarm, voice evacuation system layout diagram for multimedia network system such as public address,access control, cctv system, hotel lock system, fire fighting telephone system .

Electrical:

Designing of MCBs, Isolators and fixing as per required load in distribution boards, panel boards design and cable connection of SFUs, ACBs.

Designing the lighting and power load calculations manually.

HVAC:

Designing the heat load calculation manually from E20 and HAP(Hourly Analysis Program.

Duct sizing chilled water piping,chilled water pump calculation.
