Involved in designing and analysis of various building structures, worked on STAAD Pro, AutoCAD, MS Excel softwares etc.

Responsibilities:

● Manual designing of steel columns of a building having pitched roof (truss) with different types of loading conditions and analysis on STAAD Pro.

● Manual design of crane gantry girder resting on steel column.

● Analysis of steel columns under different load combinations.

● Wind load calculations and design of building on MS Excel.

● Worked on MS Excel sheet for design calculations.

● Used STAAD Pro for analysis of steel column and G+2 hostel building etc.

Mix design involving the replacement of various materials like SCBA & GGBS to concrete to enhance its properties. The conclusion was that these alternative pozzolanic materials can be used in soil and marine construction.

● Study of physical, chemical, mechanical and durability properties of Coal Bottom Ash (CBA) & Waste Foundry Sand

(WFS) in concrete.

July 2016 - Apr 2017

Various tests were conducted for engineering properties of CBA and WFS to know their suitability as replacement of cement. The conclusion was that these materials can substitute cement.

Achievements

● Awarded “BEST PAPER” titled as ‘Physical, Chemical and Mechanical properties of CBA and WFS and its use in concrete’ at CYNOSURE-17, held at Priyadarshini College of Engineering, Nagpur.

● Published technical papers in international journals (IJERT & IJIKC) and national conferences held at DBACER, Nagpur.

● Participated at various extracurricular competitions and events.
