Key Achievements and Interests
During the years 1995 through to 2001, I obtained the Bronze, Silver and Gold Award in the Duke of Edinburgh scheme. This required much planning and dedication in my free time and required excellent team working skills in order to achieve numerous goals such as completing a 200km hiking expedition in the Lake District.

I reached the highest rank of Flight Sergeant and was consequently made a Course Leader and Drill Instructor for new recruits. This required constant meticulous planning and maturity, a high level of discipline and excellent team-work and communication skills.
My university degree has enhanced my writing and presentation skills considerably. My competent IT skills form an essential part of my role, enabling me to use a variety of computer packages, such as MS Word, MS Excel and MS PowerPoint on a daily basis.
Extra-curricular activities and interests include sports which are my main passion; bowls, tennis and snooker. Whether it is playing, watching or following, I enjoy the competitive nature and results orientated approach of sporting occasions. My sporting achievements include playing tennis for Cheshire in the under 18s category. Moreover, at University I was elected captain for the intramural 7-a-side football team, which further strengthened my leadership, communication and co-ordination skills.
I have enjoyed travelling extensively around the world and have now visited most countries in Europe. From 2013 until April 2015, I travelled across America, Canada and Scandinavia taking photographs. I have recently returned from a 6 month travelling expedition through Asia. Travelling has undoubtedly broadened my mind and horizons and the exposure to many different people and cultures has helped make me a more rounded person.
