Lead On-Site Consultant for clients in China and the U.S, in improving customer experience by analyzing and liaising the ERP tool according to their current Supply Chain process.
Involved and customized the client’s physical inventory count process and its environment to post the adjustments.
Implemented bar-code scan guns and portable label printers for the client by integrating Lanham E-Ship module which increased productivity by reducing time from 15 minutes to 5 minutes per order.
Worked along with Parcel-Pro and NYC Empire insurance agents in receiving charges when shipments are posted.
Created a new interface to semi-automate the process of negatively adjusting BOM of finished goods in the Purchase Order. Eliminated manual work required for each item in the PO which automatically minimized the human errors by 50%. This increased productivity greatly by reducing the time from 8 hours of work to 10 minutes.
Product Marketing Strategy:
Provided root cause analysis on product development and market optimization issues faced by our client.
Recommendations such as pricing, outreach, service, communication and branding strategies were based on analysis and diagnosis around key opportunity areas across markets and consumer segments.
Our research reflected on quantitative and qualitative insights on expectations from an orthodontist to inform go-to-market plans and provided solutions for conflicting requirements which would improve their market potential by 15%.
Project Baseline Development:
Led the team as Project Manager and developed Master Program Plan, IMS, IMP, WBS, OBS, Critical Path, Control Account and EVMS that enabled to successfully submit our proposal for introducing a new mid-tier market phone, Blaze phone to the upper management of Millennium Systems.
Based on the Millennium Systems’ strategy, available resources, and real-world situations, we proposed potential solutions to the problems and build advanced risk mitigation models to simulate the scenarios to evaluate the benefits and costs of each solution to achieve a 30% ROS with a net profit of 270 million.
Logistics Network Design Study:
Conducted a case study regarding the Impact of Panama Canal Expansion on the Port of Los Angeles. Documented current position of the port, sources of traffic congestion and strategies used by the authorities such as Intermodal Container Transfer Facility (ICTF) that will eliminate an average of 500,000 annual truck trips.
Research on University of Southern California and California State University’s (Long Beach) solutions to address the unnecessary congestion resulting in 40% of the trucks waiting at the terminals for more than 3 hours such as the Import and Export Container movement, Depot – Direct and Street - Turn along with the difficulties in implementing them.
