Jul 2012 to December 2015: Migration and modification of a complex multi-entity, multi-service billing and invoicing management system for leading rail-car consortium from micro-focus to .Net.The system encompasses multiple smaller systems in the rail car workflow including Repairs, Invoicing, Billing, Payment and Auditing.

Entities in this complex includes consortium of multiple rail-roads of North America, each having multiple user groups for this system.

Flow of events includes leasing and repairs of rail-cars which result receivables and payables across the parties within the consortium. Each party invoices the other based on this system and it flows through their receivables and payables sub-systems. Other sub-systems involved are invoicing, auditing, SAP billing system.

Mobile and Web based Application and content testing framework

Content Management System: GAP infotainment developed a value added services platform that allowed mobile and web-based content acquisition, distribution and billing framework for mobile applications. Content Management system also had features such as cataloguing and ordering from web based interface. This platform allowed users to subscribe and download content and it integrated with operator billing systems to charge the customers. Billing records were reconciled with operator data for invoicing and collections.

Location Based Application: This application suite comprises of multiple applications built into a single java client for mobile phones. The application allows mobile users to track other users by using a client application on their mobile. Also allows users to find driving directions, yellow pages information and other location related information from the single application. The same is also possible to via SMS interface.

Infotrack Solution is based on “Fleet Management System”. This project includes web interface testing of FMS. With this project we can track the vehicles and maintain various reports. Performed various types of testing (Functional, usability, Look and Feel, Regression), preparation and execution of test cases and Bug Reporting. We can generate reports e.g. current location of vehicle, performance and maintenance of vehicle, seat belt and security reports, etc.

Telecom and Mobile Application testing

Role: Quality assurance lead for testing telecom and mobile applications across IVR, java/Symbian and java based mobile applications.

CRBT IVR allows users to interact with the Caller Ring Back Tone content for selecting the same as Ring Back Tone. Various flows of CRBT with categories, sub-categories, customer specific menus were tested. Multi-language IVR were also tested for various flows. Subscriptions, Billing and invoicing of all these service was tested as part of the application.

mPortal is a mobile based content cataloging and ordering on-device-portal. Using this application, a subscriber can view content available and can preview and order content from the same interface. Subscriber can also subscribe to services using this interface. The client was developed in j2me and server in J2EE.

miToc is a mobile based presence and instant messaging product (SIP and OMA Versions). It provides a similar interface as provided by MSN or Yahoo messengers on the mobile phone. The messenger provides functionalities such as presence, IM, Groups, profile etc. The client was developed in j2me and server in core java.

MiShare is a mobile based picture sharing and community product. It enables the users to click and upload pictures to the server which can be viewed by other users through their mobile or web interface. The client was developed in j2me and server side included core java and web interface with web server.
