PROFILE:

Agile Technical Project Manager who successfully executes the full Lifecycle of projects comprised of cross-functional matrixed and virtual team members. Experienced in managing software engineers and extensive hands-on technical software development skills applicable to project management, pre-sales, delivery and architectural solutions. Support project teams by providing guidance on Agile and traditional Waterfall methodologies, and by working with the necessary resources to remediate issues impeding execution. Project Manager controlling 5+ concurrent medium-large sized ($500K - $1.2M each) agile software development projects end-to-end from requirements to deployment within Clinical Care Management and pharmacy applications of the Healthcare industry for Highmark Health Solutions (HMHS).

Responsible for overseeing all staff Capacity Planning and cost controls using Clarity/CA-PPM.

Managed project Scope, Schedule, Risk Assessment/Mitigation, and deliverables while driving Scrum team Sprints, Stand Ups, and Agile Velocity in collaboration with the Scrum Masters.

Project Manager Reporting directly to executive management in a wireless billing system software provider, responsible for the planning, monitoring and development of 5+ concurrent ($150K-1.2M) software product releases to meet aggressive market targets as a Scrum Master using Agile SCRUM methodology (5+ years) as well as Waterfall methodologies. Oversight for all cross-functional team activities throughout the entire release life cycle via a matrix reporting structure, & a matrixed team of 5-10 team members.

Drove development and implementation of SDLC quality process improvements including Project Management process aligned to the CMMI for Development framework.

Direct Project management responsibilities as a Director of Software Applications with oversight of 8 software engineers for a Wireless Number Portability software application currently used by the major domestic Wireless carriers.

Direct Project management control of 21+ software engineers within 3 distinct cross-functional teams, developing cutting edge telecommunications products in an evolving industry; team architected, designed and implemented a Billing Backend to a VOIP soft switch system.

Led a team of three Software engineers to architect, design and implement the user Front End of a Telephony Network Switch Management system.

Led a team of six Software engineers architected, designed and implemented a corporate wide defect tracking system to replace a legacy system. Built the backend Database Server application component using the IBM DB2 relational Database.

Led a team of four Software engineers to design and implement enhancements to an existing Operation Support System and met requirements of a contract to replace a legacy customer number system.
