Job Profile

Review & finalize qualification of vendors/subcontractors.

Liaise with Contracts Dept. and issue Expression of Interest as well as Contracts.

Develop Purchase Requisitions, in conjunction with Site Project Teams (Scope of Services/ Works, Budget, Cash Flow, Timelines etc.).

Clarify pre-tender queries, evaluate tenders along with technical team and prepare recommendation reports for submission to Client/consultant.

Raise the Letter of Intent towards acceptance of the contract upon approval by Client/Consultant.

Prepare final contract draft document for concurrence of Contact Department and issue work order upon signing of contract document/Agreement.

Post Contract follow up with Site Project Teams on obtaining compliance Insurance, Performance Bond, Advance Payment Guarantees, etc.

Process any resulting Change Requests through to Variation Orders.

Issue all material requests and purchase orders, coordinate with Accounts for payment terms prior to issuance of Purchase Orders.

Improve material procurement database.

Advises Estimation Team on updated material costs and assist in obtaining specifications and prices for project estimates.

Generate and approve the Material Log and the Subcontractor Log to meet the project plan.

Manage the procurement function to meet the overall budget and plan by negotiating supplier/subcontractor prices, delivery terms, contracts and payment terms and conditions.

Process and/or reviews purchase requests from initiation to the receipts of goods.

Compile a materials list and purchases items as specified by packages.

Receive and/or review receipts of incomings and responsible for the receipt, inspection and acceptance of all materials and equipment ordered.

Verify invoices from suppliers with bids or purchase orders, and approve for payment.

Prepare documentation and costing of all materials issued.

Maintain records and files of all orders, receipts.

Ensure storage of all materials and equipment and maintain levels of materials & equipment to sustain daily Projects operations.
