1985 to 1988 – Quality Assurance Director

Responsible for visiting customers and resolving all customer complaints.

Worked as the liaison between Microfibres and Chatham Manufacturing where our fabrics were being finished and inspected.

Reduced customer complaints by 10% per year.

IV.Wake Forest Cardiac Rehabilitation Program – Developed with Bowman Gray School of Medicine and Wake Forest University the first outpatient cardiac rehabilitation program in the state. Worked with over 100 new patients per year emphasizing exercise, diet, and psychological component of heart disease.

1980 to 1985 Assistant Director of the WFU Cardiac Rehabilitation Program

Working with the cardiologists at Bowman Gray School of Medicine. We established an outpatient rehab program emphasizing diet, stress management, exercise and treadmill testing to monitor progress.

Responsible for scheduling physicians to be on-site to monitor all cardiac exercise sessions.

Worked with insurance companies to achieve third party payment for this outpatient service. Blue Cross/Blue Shield of NC was first insurance company to recognize and pay for these outpatient services.

Enrollment in the WFU Cardiac Rehabilitation Program reached over 100 patients per year.
