Over a 16 year career spanning two continents, I have helped early stage technology startups perfect their product-market fit, streamline operations and accelerate growth. Some of these companies got acquired e.g. eDocs (by Orcale), Workscape (by ADP) and Carekey (by Cognizant); and others have grown into well-funded companies e.g. HealthEdge.

In the Telecom vertical, worked as a Business Data Analyst, generating and validating test data, writing sql queries and stored procedures for the application developers and helping them understand the business rules that govern the data and the application

In the Healthcare vertical, worked as a Project Manager on the ETL process for our biggest Healthcare client in the Healthcare Billing Manager (HBM) group. Managed the timelines and transfer of information/bill feeds between the BA's at the client end to the developers

Directed the work of multiple resources helping them preprocess the client files into Database ready formats applying complex business rules.

Part of a team of three that designed the generic database model based on "Star" Schema paradigm, the most commonly used model for Analytics and Data Warehousing.

Responsible for gathering and documenting the business transaction requirements for the clients’ web applications

Design, develop and document the Web Services interface specifications keeping in mind FESCO Enterprise standards and HR Access system constraints.

Developed a technical skills assessment E-suite for HR and Recruiting managers within a four month period. Application helped managers design an exam module to test candidate skills. Exams are sent out electronically. Scores are reported back to the managers, who can now shortlist candidates based on scores.

Analysis: Used Data Flow Diagrams to understand information and logic flow. Developed a Database design and System layout. Broke the system into modules, developed specification for each and set milestones for their completion.

Analyzed the working of an Intra Voice Response System and complemented it with an online ASP Application using the same backend. Analysis: Interviewed engineers and system users to get an understanding of the system. Created flow charts to study the information flow. Based on the charts we designed the Database and System layout Programming: Modules were developed in parallel and integrated. Compatibility issues were resolved and system was tested.
