HEXARMOR, Grand Rapids, MI 2010 to 2014
Oversee 30 personnel in 40,000 square-foot warehouse and production area generating personal protective equipment for sale to food service entities and mining/steel/oil and gas industries worldwide. Designed manufacturing/storage area layouts; schedule personnel, ensure equipment maintenance, coordinate annual inventory count, monitor shipment quality and deadlines.
Grew staff from 15 to 30 in single year, making recruitment decisions and training 90% of new hires, while company’s sales increased from $13 million to $30 million in two years.
IRON MOUNTAIN, Grand Rapids, MI 2001 to 2010
Directed 20 personnel at five sites in three cities, ensuring management of document inventory representing more than 1.4 million cubic feet of records. Maintained PLM for all documents, supervised transportation, destruction of confidential documents, and compliance with HIPAA and SOX regulations. Managed 50+ projects for new and existing customers, with key accounts including Bank of America and the State of Michigan.
Hired as Driver, was promoted within six months to Warehouse Coordinator; 2.5 years later became Operations Supervisor.
