Project Management:

Responsible for the fulfillment of customer Purchase Order requirements. Establishment of a total manufacturing outline, including all materials, subcontract and processing requisitions and certifications to engineering drawing requirements. Manufacturing outlines to engineering drawings for welding, machining and assembly.

Coordination with Production Control for scheduling of personnel and equipment to meet the customers delivery requirements.

Interaction with the customer concerning product development, changes to the engineering drawings, cost impacts and delivery date changes.

Major Projects:

Lockheed Martin/Fort Worth Contract Value: $1,250,000

F-22 Program, Machined Vacuum Tools. These were a family of cast aluminum fixtures for machining major web structures of the planes mid-section fuselage structural components.

Lockheed Martin/Baltimore Contract Value: $12,000,000

Vertical Launch System(VLS). This is an elevator system that raises and lowers an articulated crane platform which loads cruise missiles into one of thirty on individual cells. This assembly is an electromechanical turnkey system that included the fabrication of the external hatch, various work platforms and maintenance fixtures. This program also included on other contracts, the repair and maintenance of these units.

Boeing/Wichita Contract Value: $25,000,000

777 Program. This program involved all the major assembly jigs for the forward fuselage from the wing to just behind the cockpit. There were a total of 7 separate jigs of which I was responsible for 2 units.


Initiated opening of quotation packages upon receipt from the customer.

Quoted labor, raw materials, subcontract and processing costs to complete the task per the engineering drawings.

Submitted the package to the Estimating Manager for review.

-Special Projects, Johnson Laminating & Coating – Carson, CA 2005-2016

Responsible for implementation of various plant process improvements.

-Installation of a 800 sq/ft covered outside solvent, adhesive and hazardous waste containment area.

-Installation of a 20,000 gallon liquid nitrogen tank for a new hard coating station added to the laminator process line.

-Maintenance of facility equipment and buildings.

-Installation of a new efficient and contained adhesive/solvent mixing room.
