Developed conceptual designs for the 2007 Bluetooth product portfolio, four of which became released products.
Designed and developed the Explorer line of Bluetooth headsets and accessories for the 2006 Bluetooth product portfolio. The Explorer 320 was awarded CES Best of Innovations 2006 and Laptop Magazine’s Editor’s Choice award.
Assisted in the development of the Plantronics line of “.audio” headsets for multimedia computer applications. Collaborated with the industrial design group, outside industrial designers and Plantronics China Group.
Designed and documented the DA55, a USB to headset adapter for VoIP applications.
Created the Duopro headset. Worked with the Industrial Design department to create the world’s first convertible wearing style headset.
Redesigned the Tristar headset. Achieved a total cost savings of 2+ dollars per unit.
Invented, designed and documented the Tristar headset. Working across functional teams developed the lightest most stable headset for its time. Awarded US Patent No. 5,761,298.
Collaborated with acoustic engineering, customer service, marketing and industrial designers, created the Encore headset with a mechanical porting feature using only one additional part that allowed the user to vary frequency response. Awarded US Patent No. 5,729,605. EDUCATION
