Completed a one-month observership under the Griffin Memorial Hospital Residency Program in Norman, Oklahoma under the mentorship of Dr. Clayton Morris and Dr. Limei Yang. During this time I learned the essentials of Psychiatry History taking and examinations in the inpatient, emergency and outpatient settings, learnt about medication and patient management, practiced psychiatric interviewing of patients under supervision of residents and attendings. I also learnt and practiced the essentials of Psychiatry daily SOAP note taking skills and gave a class presentation on Schizophrenia. Additionally, I attended all case conferences and academic lectures alongside medical students and residents.
