Consolidated all capacity requirements to manage inventory levels for each company product within company owned facilities in Mexico, Central America and the Caribbean, controlling over 30,000 SKUs translated into 400 manufacturing construction groups which represents over 50% of the overall production for the corporation with direct management over sewing/packing internal manufacturing planning resources.

• TeamSports Manufacturing operations planning. Transitioned sourced production to internal manufacturing in Mexico reducing costs and improving service, extended production volume capabilities from 40,000 to 160,000 dozens per year, increased personnel from 400 to 800, improved efficiency by 300%, and reduced total costs by 42% and the facility achieved 99% delivery with a 6 week lead time in a make-to-order business by the end of the first year of season rotation.

• Polybag manufacturing operations planning. Reduced 50% of inventory variations by negotiating a reduction of material allowance shipped on each PO from vendor’s facilities to conversion facility, established 99% optimum inventory of raw material at Vendor’s Facility through ordering size predictability. Implemented a 3σ safety stock target inventory and reduced the packaging WIP suspended per lack of polybags by 61%. Implemented a combined supply chain risk management and inventory management project with total savings of over $2.2M per year.
