Review includes design specifications and requirements per NEC, IEEE, NEMA,IEC,NECA, and other federal required standards in the GSA P-100 document of regulations. Review of test data and commissioning reports are done as part of the contract and responsibility of the Electrical Engineering of the government agency (GSA). I also do site visits to assist in design coordination for energy improvements and net zero energy projects at various site locations. I am also the Contracting Officer Representative and Electrical engineering lead for Photovoltaic Systems (Solar Projects) conducting testing with commissioning of sites under the Federal Aggregated Solar Procurement Project (“FASPP”). I conduct site visit for testing, and commissioning of locations with review of final reports to put systems in to operational status at government facilities. I am the lead for getting all electrical interconnections to the utility companies with writing the load shed (shutdowns) and startup of the buildings to complete the electrical connections for use at each location. My field experience has helped to successfully put several of the sites into operational positions within government regulations and codes for electrical requirements. Contracting Officer Representative Level 2 certification completed as part of commissioning efforts of PV system requirements.

SCADA Engineer

The work included doing the IP addressing, DNP3 addressing, writing the settings for the Remote Terminal Unit, testing of the hardware and software using the SCADA to trip circuit breakers and trigger alarms with faults. Tested and configured the equipment used in the SCADA rack as well as the radios used to send data back to the RTAC in the control room. I wrote the test commissioning documentation and points list for each substation tested at 4 and 13 kv.

I Configured vacuum, thermal, and EMI equipment and cable designs. I participated in engineering peer reviews, engineering notebooks, and modifications. I completed EMI and other special testing involving flights outside the orbit. Designed cable and harness tests for production test systems used inside test facility. Tested and verified new software for release in flight test lab. Contributed to JSF environmental, captive carry, and live fire testing. Setup missiles for flight tests. Provided flight line support to assure test completion. Collected and analyzed flight test data (environmental and telemetry). Environmental testing of weapons include vibration, bending gauges, stress gauges, thermal, pressure, and altitude effects on Joint Strike Fighter aircraft. Data review and analysis done after flights to evaluate the environmental effects to the weapon at varying speeds and altitudes.
