CCS-CRG works on Control record level. Vision plus system contains total 44 type of control records/processing parameters.CRG team sets up these records in different mainframe regions like development, testing as well as Production regions.

Responsibilities: Analysis, build and testing of control records for below project types.

Release projects – This type of projects are released every quaterly and involves all the control records for a given system to be analysed as build from the scratch. she has beed involved in release project since Aug 2006 release. Under her guidance UDAP Aug 09 is completed successfully.

Non release projects – Defects not resolved in release projects are then introduced as Non release projects.

Infrastructure projects – This type projects involves mass update of control records due to change in business rule or to maintain uniformity of control records field values in system.

Mailings projects – These projects are monthly mailings projects introduced at portfolio levels. These projects come in picture for different schemes introduced by marketing people.

Clean up tasks – Vision plus system has limit of 998 records to be created. After a certain time period all the Interest tables get used in different marketting campaigns. To make Interest tables available for future projects many duplicate Interest tables as well as Zero account Interest tables are identifed and they are freed to make them available for future campaigns.

LMS projects – LMS(Loyalty Management System) is a sub-system of Vision Plus. It is designed to allow card issuers to build a base of loyal customers by rewarding them with points or cash-back rebates according to their use of their card. Points can be accumulated based on transaction activity of cards. Team is involved in analysis of market requirements and accordinlgy builds LMS control records in system.

RS Projects – This project involves analysis and setup of Retail Services control record. CRG is working on ASM.

ONE HSBC - This project involves streamlining HSBC's business processes and products as per the needs of its customers on a global basis. This streamlining will be performed by migrating Whirl platform to ONE HSBC.

Highlights in the team:
