Wastewater Utilities Software Company, Wheat Ridge (Proprietary), CO – started and completed in 2017.

Project management (IT) for adding two major new components to this established and publicly marketed software tool. The front-end portion called for expert development and integration with server software utilizing Pass Through queries and calls to Stored Procedures. Reports were automated. Development passed stringent testing, QA and approval policies. Stored Procedures were updated for a variety of additions.

Telecommunications and Conferencing Company (Proprietary), Thornton, CO – started and completed in 2016.

IT Management of re-developing project for a configurator software tool for the company’s worldwide sales force. The tool implemented user forms for sales personnel and provides a user-friendly interface, replacing the need for engineering involvement for sales quoting for the company’s primary product line.

Online Commodity Company (Proprietary), Amarillo, TX – started and completed in 2015.

Managed full-cycle development of a tool from ground up which converts major organization operations formerly handled by a large Excel workbook, into a database system staged for cloud placement. This included documentation, training and other implementation services.

Land Company, Daytona Beach, FL – started and completed in 2015

Managed re-creation of legacy tool originally built in now defunct desktop software to a new identical tool using modern technologies. The tool was built to record two major sets of data and several minor sets. Specific automations, reports and forms were re-built. Modern conveniences were added, including “click-out” to Web County and Google maps. Documentation was provided in a 40-page document covering user and developer needs, as well as an operational video. Majority of work was performed using email, cloud and collaboration software.

Centura, Denver Area, CO – 2014 to 2015

Contracted and performed management services for: Administration and maintenance of 17 business critical automations built in VB.Net, Oracle, and VBA, SQL server and other technologies including T-SQL interface for the accounts receivable division of Finance. Provided development modifications and upgrades as needed. Evaluated and provided recommendation for reverse engineering and built prototypes. Also, consulted on utilizing other technologies to manage data and reporting requirements.

Raytheon, Aurora, CO -- started and completed in 2014

Technology management for Raytheon GPS/OCX Satellite contract; utilizing Microsoft technologies, such as VBA. Several tools were taken through the life-cycle development process to documentation. One example was a tool which extracted data from the Satellite ground station team planning system, Eroom, modified the data, extracted multiple metrics outputs for personnel resources, and provided decision flags. Another was automation from within MS Project (Excel VBA in Project VBA) outputting a formatted Excel report and providing task information for workers. Others were a Peer Review tool modification which expanded functionality and corrected current development issues. Two tools were built which combined accounting and project data sources for managerial comparison. Prototype work on a dashboard system with multi-layer metrics outputs derived from a variety of data sources was also provided.

Colorado Department of Human Services, Denver, CO -- started and completed in 2014

IT Director for this project which performed migration for 8 databases to new software versions of which two were prior managed through development (full life cycle - see ADAD).

Baker Hughes, Denver, CO -- started and completed in 2013

IT management lead on two projects which enhanced two development systems which were unfinished and not providing organizational outputs as desired, for this oil production company. The projects were extremely technical, complex and specific to the industry. Example enhancements included forms which contained selections affecting data collections as well as text and graphical product configuration representations. Also, included was a stable transfer of data between systems.

Managed data originating from sample management and LIMS systems. Was liaison between EPA and company management. Responsible for new project development (life cycle) – 7 projects. This was a highly-technical research environment. A moderate amount of data/data management was both mission critical and safety critical.

Kiewit, Englewood, CO-- 2010 to 2011

Brought in to support an SAP conversion for a large construction firm. Full life-cycle management and development of a data validation tool utilizing Microsoft Access, as well as several ETL tools. Also administered a multi-user Task Database delivered via virtual machine.

HDH Consulting, Lakewood, CO -- started and completed in 2010

Oversaw the development of data gathering forms via the Web using .Net and utilizing a server-based database, for a political candidate campaign. The technologies were developed and implemented in a highly-iterative change environment -- successfully.

Headington Oil Co., Lakewood, CO -- 2007 to 2008

Managed methodologies and delivery of technical tools for this Denver-area Oil Exploration and Drilling company which was seeking to provide a more modern overall operation to assist in selling the firm. Two tools were developed from ground up. One tool was for well production measurements of over 100 wells, replacing three manual systems. The other tool was a prototype for rig management. Both tools involved highly-automated entry and reporting using Microsoft technologies.

State of Colorado, Alcohol and Drug Abuse Division (ADAD) Denver, CO -- 2005 to 2007

IT Manager for a contract with this 94,000-employee customer. Initiated full SDLC replacement of 100+ page-based directory of Colorado treatment providers and institutions with automated State web page directory based on a database.

Synergistic Software Solutions, Minneapolis, MN -- 2006 to 2007

Remote contract. One of the earliest remote contracts performed using Microsoft Access and Sage MAS500 for an end manufacturing customer.

NSO Press Inc., Denver, CO -- 2006 to 2010

Managed 4-year contract from inception which several tools/systems which either were not fully functioning or were providing minimal performance. One tool was highly code dependent and was brought operational using technology and operational adjustments.
