Ensuring that rejection and scrapping of material is minimized and ensure Quality are given prime important through motivating the associates and by providing good environment for working.


Schedule to vendor as per MRP & BOM prepared in CIGMA & weekly ordering for any changes in production (or) short notices.

Planning and controlling the materials to achieve daily, weekly production targets in coordinating with vender's STORE,PPC department as our Lead Time was 7 Days.

Ensuring availability of materials with maintaining safety stock of Min 3 Days.

Planning for long lead time and ensure there is always stock of critical component to avoid shortage on assembly line.

Monitoring physical stock A, B, C class items with CIGMA system stock.

Follow up with suppliers for part delivery as per requirement.

Knowing material handling system at vendor end so as to avoid damage to component and easy flow at assemble line.

Co-ordinating in between vendor and their logistics provider to ensure timely supply of components on assembly line.


Full fledge knowledge about CIGMA(PPC) similar to sap.

Prepare and updating BOM for N+5month in system (CIGMA).

Plan, procure and schedule materials resource (MR) according to n+5 month forecast production plan basis on BOM.

Making MRIR for all inward sub assy materials & purchased goods to company.

New component trails planning and planning for production cut off declaration of old model to avoid dead stock loss.

Maintain exactness in physical stock and system (CIGMA) stock.

Preparation of report for material receipt against daily productions through maintaining subassy material issue slips and FG stock-in slips.

Generating scrap ticket slips for defective parts.

Inventory stock management through quarterly and half yearly internal,external audits.


Layout marking, levelling of site according to drawings with accurate calculations.

Preparing of bar bending,schedule as per the design requirement.

Standardizing shop floor through use of In-house pipes and bars to fabricate Chute,Production layout and plant layouts.

Eliminate Muda in time, money, materials, man-hours, machine time, and other resources with continues co-ordination with associates, co-workers and Management.

Fabrication Welding for preparation of chute, trolleys, stands etc.


Productivity : MAGNETO Productivity increased 28.60 to 38.57 Pcs/Man/hr.(34.86% Up)

CDI Productivity increased 171.42 to 192.85 Pcs/Man/hr.(17.04% Up)

Scrap cost Reduction: MAGNETO Scrap reduced 0.04 To 0.029 Rs/Assy.(27.5% Down)

CDI Scrap reduced 0.23 To 0.19 Rs/Assy.(17.04% Down)

Carried out Diploma project on Automated pick and place of objects by using pneumatics.
