Astrophysics Research Project The Ohio State University Spring 2016

Responsible for building a foundational program which is being used to advance research in a gyro-chronology project at OSU funded by the NSF.

Required intensive problem solving and computer programming skills, as well as a fundamental knowledge of advanced astrophysical phenomena concerning stars and stellar evolution.

Analyze large sets of data and apply mathematical and statistical models to the data to better understand various systems. Learned about statistical models and how to deal with large data sets.

The Ohio State University. Columbus, OH August 2012 – Spring 2014

Participated in multiple volunteer projects including leading safe sex programs to educate fellow students, tutoring inner city middle school children, and various community clean-up projects at parks and other city areas.

Extended our volunteering to service projects in DC and Chicago where we helped plant trees, make cards for local children’s hospitals and educated kids on attending college.

Became a committee leader which required planning and hosting events for over 100 people twice a semester and staying within a budget. Held weekly committee meetings where I was responsible for delegating tasks to fellow SSP members. Gained strong leadership qualities.

Mellow Mushroom Pizza Bakers Assistant General Manager Columbus, OH March 2017 - Present

Responsible for guest interactions on a day to day basis. Dealt with guest complaints and needs. Gained customer service experience and developed much better communication skills by working with guests of all age groups in backgrounds.

Manage 15 plus staff members, including making their schedule, maintaining a positive and efficient working environment. Gained leadership skills through these responsibilities.

Successfully achieved target numbers for six months, staying well within the margin for labor, food, and bar cost in a one and a half million dollar grossing store.
