As a consulting developer, I work closely with clients to understand their business needs and how their current applications and IT infrastructure are supporting those needs. As a team leader in several hackathon style competitions I have had success in generating ideas and solutions quickly and effectively while working with ad hoc teams and tight deadlines. My team, PetroMatch, placed as a finalist in the 2017 GoCode Colorado competition based around building solutions with publicly available data. A project named Captain, using Amazon Alexa to interview First Responders, won Honorable Mention at the SmartCities CES Hackathon in Jan 2017. In developing a mobile coupon book application for SUTP, based in Edmonton, Alberta ( no longer open for business ), I built the app first as an HTML5 prototype, then iOS objective-C and Android, then updated to Swift. I also assisted in the development of the backend API for the app and the entire sales process management system.

While working with PerfectlySoft, on their ServerSide Swift framework, I built a proof of concept app to support Economic Development organizations in the York Region. YRES (York Region Entreprenueur Support ) is Swift based, uses a variety of custom navigation and custom cell designs, search functionality, and had a simple data management web console built alongside the app for content management. This app is currently available on the iTunes App Store. While working for SkyVantage, in 2009, I developed a custom weights and balance solution for managing the load of baggage and passengers in a coordinated fashion, targeting the unique aircraft and operational needs of small airlines in Belize, Jamaica and the Bahamas. This drag and drop solution was certified by the Jamaican government for commercial use on first review. Work History:

Position involved day to day coding as well as research, communication with clients, data partners, and internal staff to plan and implement changes and additions to SVAMS modules.
