Responsible for 388 employee at three (3) U.S. locations.
Environmental Health & Safety Manager
Responsible for the safety management of 400 employees over a three shift operation. Areas of responsibilities include: new hire safety orientations, Safestart behavior based training (over 450 employees trained), forklift, MSDS Recordkeeping, Job Safety Analysis, Risk Assessments, Hearing Conservation, Fall Protection, Lock Out Tag Out, Confined Space, Hazard Communication, Near Miss, Accident Investigations, First Aid Team Leader/Emergency Response. Work very closely with upper management and the Weir Group on setting safety standards. Responsible to maintain ISO 14001 Environmental Management System and OHSAS 18001 Health & Safety Management System. Have done numerous safety audits at other Weir locations. Also work with Workers Compensation. Currently our facility has worked 1982 days and 3.5 Million hours worked without a Lost Time Accident. I have reduced our recordable accidents 300 % in the last four years.
