Warehouse Operator

Job Description

Ambassador Personnel is seeking full-time Warehouse Operators for 1st and 2nd shifts in the Charlotte area.

Job Description:

Unload material from trucks and move it to the designated receiving area.

Check Bill of Lading and packing lists to ensure shipments are received complete, sign for received material, and note discrepancies on Bill of Lading.

Report receiving discrepancies to the appropriate department.

Re-bundle skids/pallets to conform to warehouse storage requirements.

Store material in warehouse locations utilizing the system, scanner, stock picker, reach truck, or forklift.

Complete cycle counts with the system.

Pack material to make it suitable for shipping, including identification and documentation according to pick order instructions, and ensuring accuracy.

Load trucks for shipments and close orders.

Responsible for identifying any non-conforming parts and preventing them from further processing.

Perform regular housekeeping of the general work area.

Complete daily checklists and preventative maintenance of equipment.

Support the implementation of the operational plan and support the measuring and reporting of the status.

Requirements:

High School Diploma or GED.

2 years of Forklift experience required in a warehouse/manufacturing environment.
