Machine Operator

Job Description

Acloche has immediate openings for a Shear Machine Operator in Delaware!

Responsibilities:

• Operate and monitor machines in a manufacturing environment

• Set up machines according to specifications

• Read and interpret blueprints and work orders

• Use hand tools and precision measuring instruments to assemble and fabricate products

• Perform quality checks using calipers, micrometers, and other measuring devices

• Ensure machines are running smoothly and adjust as needed.

• Troubleshoot issues that may arise during production

• Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean work area

Requirements:

• Previous experience as a machine operator in a manufacturing setting preferred

• Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles is a plus

• Proficient in basic math skills for measurements and calculations

• Familiarity with hand tools and precision measuring instruments

• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and work orders

• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately

• Physical stamina to stand for long periods of time and perform repetitive tasks

• Excellent problem-solving skills and mechanical aptitude.

• Must be able to lift overhead on a regular basis 30 lbs. Material sizes are awkward. Ex: 125”L x 60 W flat panels – lifting over your head.

The warehouse is HOT, not temperature control.

First shift- 6am-4:30pm Monday-Friday and 6am-noon on Saturdays for overtime

Second shift- 4:00 pm - 2:30 am Monday-Thursday - must be able to work OT schedule Friday, 4:00 pm - 2:30 am

Training will be on 1st shift for 3 weeks
