• Screen evaluation requests to confirm eligibility based on guidelines before scheduling or dispatching.
• Coordinate with hospitals, referral sources, clients, advocates, and RBHA to ensure timely scheduling and excellent customer service.
• Handle communication via calls and emails professionally, responding promptly to inquiries and updates.
• Create and document referrals in electronic medical records, tracking actions and scheduling efforts.
• Distribute evaluation requests equitably among evaluators and manage cancellations or delays efficiently.
• Assess risks such as danger to self or others, and coordinate appropriate responses, including crisis intervention if needed.
• Maintain accurate documentation, update reports, and support team coverage through cross-training.
• Conduct outreach to obtain necessary documentation within specified timeframes and update records accordingly.
• Require a high school diploma with 4 years of behavioral health experience or higher education/experience, and qualify as a Behavioral Health Technician (BHT).
