Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Experienced Hire Recruiter to join our Talent Acquisition team. This role will focus on identifying, attracting, and hiring top-tier talent across various areas of focus including Quantitative Research and Development, HR, Operations and Middle Office, Compliance, Legal, Finance other specialized roles within Millennium. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in recruiting technical talent, strong interpersonal skills, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-performance environment.

Responsibilities:

Develop and execute recruiting strategies to identify and attract top talent for experienced-hire roles.

Collaborate with hiring managers to understand their specific needs and create targeted recruiting plans.

Proactively source candidates using a variety of methods, including professional networks, LinkedIn, job boards, and direct outreach.

Build and maintain pipelines of qualified technical candidates across key disciplines.

Conduct initial screening interviews to assess candidates’ technical skills, experience, and cultural fit.

Coordinate and manage the interview process, including technical assessments, behavioral evaluations, and panel interviews.

Partner with hiring managers, team leads, and senior stakeholders to ensure alignment on candidate profiles and hiring goals.

Provide regular updates and feedback on hiring progress, challenges, and market trends.

Create an exceptional candidate experience by maintaining clear communication and managing expectations throughout the recruitment process.

Represent the firm’s values and culture professionally and authentically.

Stay up-to-date on industry trends, including compensation benchmarks, talent pools, and competitive hiring practices.

Prepare and present data-driven insights to improve recruiting strategies and outcomes.

Continuously refine recruiting processes and workflows to ensure efficiency and effectiveness.

Leverage technology and tools (e.g., Applicant Tracking Systems, sourcing platforms, AI platforms) to optimize recruitment efforts.

Qualifications:

5-7 years of experience specifically focused on experienced hire recruiting.

Prior experience recruiting for hedge funds, asset management firms, financial services, or technology companies is strongly preferred.

Experience in both in house and agency recruitment preferred.

Proven ability to source and attract technical talent in a competitive market.

Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build trust and credibility with candidates and hiring managers.

Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.

Familiarity with technical concepts and requirements in areas such as programming (Python, C++, Java), quantitative analysis and research is a plus.

Proficiency in recruiting tools such as LinkedIn Recruiter, sourcing platforms, and Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS).

Ability to leverage data-driven insights to refine recruiting strategies.

Self-starter with a proactive approach to problem-solving and decision-making.

Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
