Senior Manager, FP&A - High-Growth Tech/SaaS Environment
Our client, a venture-backed technology firm is seeking a Senior Manager of FP&A to join their dynamic finance team. This company works with both public and private sector partners to provide smart data solutions that improve transportation and city planning. With a focus on innovation and global reach, they are helping to shape the future of mobility.
This is a high-impact, individual contributor role ideal for someone with deep financial modeling skills, operational finance expertise, and experience partnering with cross-functional stakeholders in a high-growth environment. Candidates who began their careers in investment banking or strategic finance and have since advanced in SaaS or tech startups will thrive in this role.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead financial planning cycles including weekly, monthly, quarterly forecasts, annual budgets, and multi-year strategic plans.
Build and maintain complex financial models to guide business decisions, headcount planning, and resource allocation.
Deliver strategic insights and performance analysis, with a focus on SaaS metrics and recurring revenue streams.
Partner with department leaders to support pricing strategies and evaluate go-to-market initiatives.
Create board-ready presentations to support investor relations, capital raises, and strategic planning.
Provide modeling and analysis to support M&A evaluations, scenario planning, and capital allocation decisions.
Continuously improve FP&A processes, systems, and tools (experience with Adaptive, Workday, Salesforce, and Kluster is preferred).
Qualifications:
MBA from a top-tier program highly preferred; Bachelor's degree in finance, economics, or related discipline.
At least 2 years of experience in investment banking, corporate development, or tech-focused strategic finance.
Ideally 6 years total experience in FP&A or finance roles within venture-backed or high-growth SaaS companies.
Proven ability to operate independently, manage ambiguity, and influence senior stakeholders.
Advanced Excel skills and financial modeling expertise.
Strong communication skills with an ability to translate financial data into actionable insights and polished presentations.
Strong financial background within tech or SaaS, a strategic mindset, and the confidence to work directly with C-suite leaders.
Direct experience supporting or participating in the sale of a company, including due diligence and financial preparation.
