We're looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Construction Project Coordinator with a strong emphasis on managing and organizing the bidding process.
Position Summary:
As a Construction Project Coordinator with a bidding focus, you will be a key member of our preconstruction team. You will coordinate bid opportunities, manage documentation, communicate with subcontractors and vendors, and support the estimating and project management teams to help secure new business.
Key Responsibilities:
Coordinate and manage incoming bid invitations and organize bid calendars.
Prepare and distribute bid packages to subcontractors and vendors.
Track bid responses, follow up with trades, and maintain a database of subcontractors.
Support Project Management Team in collecting, preparing, and organizing scope documents, drawings, and specifications.
Review bid documents for completeness and relay important details to the team.
Assist in the preparation of bid proposals and ensure timely submissions.
Communicate with clients, architects, and internal departments as needed throughout the bidding process.
Maintain up-to-date project tracking systems and bidding logs.
Perform administrative tasks related to project setup and handoff after successful bids.
Qualifications:
2+ years of experience in construction coordination, estimating, or a related role preferred.
Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple bids and deadlines.
Excellent communication and follow-up skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook); experience with Procore, BuildingConnected, Plan Hub, or similar platforms a plus.
Knowledge of construction documents, drawings, and bid processes.
High attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Self-starter with a team-player mindset.
