How you will make an impact as HR Manager:
As the HR Manager at ADVENT, you will oversee talent engagement to ensure a positive work environment characterized by equitable treatment, consistent policy application, competitive pay, and benefits. Your role will be crucial in retaining top talent and fostering career growth for our team.
Develop and update job descriptions and pay grades; conduct market research to ensure competitive and fair compensation
Serve as a secondary point of contact for health and dental insurance, ancillary benefits, and 401(k) programs; manage employee compensation and benefits programs; and communicate benefit-related information promptly
Collaborate with managers on employee terminations and resignations, conduct exit interviews, and provide necessary feedback
Promote and support a culture focused on quality, continuous improvement, employee retention, development, and high performance
Ensure compliance with federal and state HR regulations, conduct investigations, maintain records, and represent the organization at hearings
Oversee the new hire orientation process
Evaluate departmental reports and outcomes, recommend new policies and procedures for continuous improvement, and enhance efficiency
Administer and monitor the performance evaluation program
Support organizational success and undertake additional tasks as assigned by leadership
Lead and manage the HR team, setting clear expectations, motivating staff, and managing performance through recognition, feedback, and disciplinary actions when needed
Report to the Director of HR; Manage the Payroll and Benefits Coordinator and the HR Coordinator

Demonstrated ability to exercise initiative, judgment, and discretion to meet organizational goals
Proficient in analyzing situations and taking effective actions
Strong judgment and discretion in developing and applying departmental policies and procedures
Capable of assuming responsibility and authority over assigned functions
Skilled in maintaining quality control standards.
Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize and meet deadlines
Proficient in writing reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals
Professional demeanor with the ability to remain calm and effective under pressure
Ability to build and maintain effective working relationships at all levels of the organization
