As the Senior Experience Designer, you will play a key role in shaping personalized digital experiences that guide customers through their tech journey with confidence and ease. You’ll work closely with a collaborative team of designers, researchers, product managers, and engineers to craft solutions that are not only user-centric but also backed by data and research. A successful candidate will bring strong design expertise, a passion for customer advocacy, and an ability to drive strategic design conversations. This role is remote eligible, which means you would work virtually from home or another non-Best Buy location.
What you’ll do
Design customer-centric experiences that deliver relevant and timely personalization
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align on solutions that meet customer and business needs
Use research and data insights to drive design decisions and improve experiences
Lead discovery efforts and promote human-centered design practices
Partner with analytics, research, and testing teams to validate and optimize experiences
Basic qualifications
Online portfolio or case studies demonstrating UX design work
2 years of experience as a UX designer or 6 years in a related design role
2 years of experience as an embedded product designer alongside product management and engineering
2 years of experience with design tools like Figma, Sketch, InVision, or other
Strong understanding of UX principles, interaction design, and usability best practices
Preferred qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Design, HCI, or related field, or equivalent experience
2 years working in ecommerce or multi-channel environments
1 year of experience designing for accessibility
Strong communication, collaboration, and relationship-building skills
Ability to manage multiple efforts while maintaining design consistency
