Job Objective:
The position is responsible for working with Loan Officers of the Bank, customers of the bank, as well as third party entities to ensure the accurate and timely servicing of the Bank’s real estate loan portfolio.
Job Duties:
Manage weekly pipeline including, but not limited to, closing dates, rate lock dates and all other loan status updates
Efficiently communicate with borrowers, loan officers, and internal departments
Receive and respond to calls and emails from customers inquiring about real estate loan process or status of real estate loan
Ensure all loan documentation is thoroughly analyzed and meet guidelines and regulations
Thorough knowledge of regulatory requirements for loan origination and closing documentation
Ensure that real estate loan files contain documents with proper signatures, dates, legal descriptions, vesting, and other relevant data
Process requests with a sense of urgency and purpose while maintaining quality expectations
Assist with the disbursement of new loan files amongst processors
Process and assemble real estate loan origination files
Prepare, review, and send out initial loan disclosures to borrowers
Order flood determinations and meet guidelines for properties within the flood zone
Order and review property appraisals and titles to validate properties to meet guidelines
Contact insurance agents and confirm adequate coverage for hazard and flood insurance
Update real estate supporting documentation throughout the loan process
Coordinate loan closings with the title companies and/or borrowers and then prepare and review all loan documents needed for closing
Assist with real estate loan funding
Input HMDA data into reporting software and assist with HMDA duties and responsibilities
Maintain outstanding document exception report and track final title policies and record mortgages
Other Essential Functions

Must comply with applicable laws and regulations
Must have adequate time management skills, critical thinking skills, problem solving skills, and detail oriented
Skilled in Microsoft Word and Excel

Provide enthusiastic and professional service to Bank customers and employees
Maintain the security and confidentiality of pertinent information and records
Continue professional development through training, seminars, membership in associations, as applicable
Basic Qualifications:
High School Diploma or GED; three (3) years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Trustworthy and confidential behavior is essential in this role
